Mid-October 2022, the academic staff of the University of Latvia, the faculty of Education, Psychology and Art Sandra Kalniņa and Evija Latkovska were warmly welcomed to the University of Greifswald in Germany. It was a chance to get acquainted with the organisation of teacher education in partner universities – University of Greifswald (Germany), University of Zadar (Croatia), University of Eastern Finland (Finland), Bishop Grosseteste University (UK). The visit was organised in the framework of the DAAD project “Teaching Internationally” by the colleagues of the University of Greifswald. Special attention was paid to the organisation of internships and finding mobility windows for student exchange. The project envisages hosting a Summer school for both student teachers and the academic staff in Greifswald, 2023.

Meanwhile, the students and the academic staff are invited to participate in a seminar series “Exploring Heterogeneity in International Educational Contexts” lead by Michigan-Flint University (USA).
