February 28 – Rare Disease Day also celebrated in Latvia (see here). From 2019 to 2022, prof. Indra Odina and asst.prof. Evija Latkovska of the Faculty of Education, Psychology and Art (FEPA) of the University of Latvia (UL) cooperated with colleagues from Spain, Romania, Greece and Britain in the KA2 - Cooperation for Innovation and the Exchange of good practices KA201 - Strategic Partnerships for School Education project CREDIBLE (Children with Rare Diseases and their Inclusion in Basic Learning Environments). One of the outputs of the project is a guide published in 2022 for school administration, support staff and teachers so they can help pupils with rare diseases fit into the education process. The guide is an opportunity for teachers to enrich their professional experience. Assoc.prof. Ieva Margeviča-Grinberga and lecturer Egija laganovska also represented the FEPA team in the development of the guide.
