Ethics Commission for Research with Human Involvement
The Ethics Commission of the Faculty of Education, Psychology and Art (FEPA) of the University of Latvia on Research with Human Involvement is a collegial, consultative institution, the purpose of which is to provide recommendations and evaluate the compliance of research in the fields of education, psychology, art and sports with the ethical principles of research with human involvement.
The main tasks of the Commission are:
- To review and provide opinions on the compliance of research projects of FEPA academic staff, researchers and students and their implementation procedures with the ethical principles of research involving people.
- To provide consultations on research with human involvement on ethical issues in the fields of education, psychology, art and sports.

The commission was approved at the meeting of the FEPA council; Decision No.30-2 / 75, Riga 28.05.2020.
