Profesors Ivars Austers. Doktora grādu ieguvis 2001. gadā Stokholmas Universitātē. LU studiju programmās māca sociālo izziņu, starpkultūru psiholoģiju, pētniecības metodes, u. c. Viņš aktīvi piedalās pētniecībā par sociālo identitāti, vērtībām, kā arī autovadītāju uzvedību. Ir Starptautiskās Lietišķās psiholoģijas asociācijas (International Association of Applied Psychology) un Personības un sociālās psiholoģijas biedrības (Society for Personality and Social Psychology) biedrs.
